How can you respond when...

The possibility of getting into conversations with family and friends that hold different viewpoints than you can often create anxiety and stress.

 

Our first inclination may be to avoid such conversations but things will never change if we just talk to people who agree with us!

 

To help foster communication, please check out our newest "How to Respond" series, where we offer tips for how to address generally intolerant comments. Some of the tips offered can also be used when you find yourself in these types of conversations around the holidays, while participating in group activities or even with large family gatherings.
