Stronger Together
Welcome to Families for Equity in Education.
It takes a village. We all know that. We want to be that...the community that works together to make our schools affirming places for all children, where they see their whole selves represented and celebrated.
Families for Equity in Education addresses issues of diversity, equity and inclusion at school and at home. Our work depends on fostering relationships with families throughout the North Coastal Communities of San Diego County so that we can do the important, but sometimes uncomfortable work, of working towards change.
Our hope is that by learning about each other we can work towards the collective good of all. Incorporating this work into our everyday lives is a journey, with the ultimate goal of recognizing and honoring the humanity and inherent worth of each person in our community.
